Forcivity Hires CTO To Lead Technical Vision

Nashua, NH (March 7, 2017)Forcivity, a cloud-based data reporting and access platform, announced today that it has named Ben Yaris as Chief Technology Officer. Yaris, who was previously the company’s Director of Engineering and help design Forcivity’s products, has previously held senior engineering positions at companies like Cynergy Systems, GotPrint and Puma.

Yaris will be tasked with three key initiatives:

  1. Help drive the Forcivity brand and product from a technical standpoint, a skill he learned early in his career designing and building website for the globally known Puma brand.
  2. Own the entire development lifecycle and technical stack, including back-end and front end development work. This will include managing Forcivity’s overseas development team, something Yaris is quite familiar with having learned to manage virtual global teams during his five years at Cynergy Systems.
  3. Build out a technical team here in the United States to continue work on Forcivity’s platform while continually responding to market needs and trends.

“At this point of my career I am looking forward to building a world-class technical team here in New Hampshire,” Yaris said. “Even in this early stage of Forcivity we have seen that there is a huge demand for the solutions we are offering. We need a strong team that is up to the challenge of building the features and products that meet the needs of our growing customer base.”

Yaris has worked closely with Forcivity co-founders Steve Baines and Maxwell Lydstone. Yaris said it was Baines’s passion that first drew him to the company. The three worked closely together and Yaris helped design and lead the product development, guiding the company into the right architecture decisions to make sure the platform could scale with rapid growth.

“Ben is absolutely the right person to lead the tech side of the house at Forcivity,” Baines said. “He is a big picture thinker who also has an incredible eye for details. He has a unique mix of technical, business and visual design skills that make him an invaluable member of the team. It is no coincidence that as we go out and demo Forcivity the feedback we consistently receive from prospects is that this is one of the best professional business applications they’ve ever seen.”

Yaris has a strong reputation as a passionate motivator with an ability to adapt to changing technologies, according to other tech leaders.

“Ben has always been good at learning new technology and figuring out how to quickly apply it to solve customer problems in meaningful and unique ways,” said Craig Sisk, Technical Lead at KPMG US. “He brings an energy and passion to work with him that motivates those around him and drives success.”
