The following items must be present before installing Saber: Component Pack for Lightning:

  1.  Communities must be enabled in your org (Setup / Communities / All Communities).
  2. You must have chatter enabled (Setup / Chatter / Chatter Settings).
  3. You must have my domain set (Setup / My Domain).

Summer 20 Released July 14, 2020

  • Salesforce Summer 20 release ready
    • Important: Added View All to the profile requirements.
      Configure the following so users and guests (public access) have access to Forcivity components:
      • Profile / Object Settings / Forcivity Components / Read and View All
      • Profile / Object Settings / Forcivity Welcome Mat Trackers / Read and View All
  • General improvements:
    • Saber can now show the elements of a component (UI) not created by user content.
      • User content is separate, see the localization documentation for details.
    • Updated all component H1-H3 fonts to use H1-H3, not the SLDS font equivalents.
    • Help now opens the Forcivity Community for access to product documentation and support.
    • Component listing is now sorted alphabetically.
    • Saber can run with (recommended) or without Locker Service on within the community.
      • NOTE: The Libraries with Preview is not available with Locker Service turned off.
  • Libraries
    • The Library component has been enhanced:
      • You can now the Card icon and Title on or off.
      • Addressed the file preview in non-root (/s) communities.
      • See the libraries documentation for more details.
    • The Libraries with Preview is no longer needed to see file previews.
      • Use the Libraries component moving forward.
    •  Added a ‘Show files and sub-folders’ to all users. See the documentation for details.
  • Record List
    • Compact font size is definable.
    • Longer lists sort correctly.

  • Hero

    • Improved updating and editing of background images for hero, tiles, and search.

    • Updated all rich text editors to include links.
  • Buttons:
    • Buttons now support flow with input variables including {!recordId}.
    • A new component, Forcivity Flow button, is used for buttons with flows.
    • The Forcivity Button only shows non-flow action buttons.

    • Improved formatting on downloads.
    • Support for displaying formula fields with images.
    • Support for rendering URLs in fields.

    • Improved filters and added filter logic. Support for search term, knowledge category, topic, and field value.
    • Ability to define filter logic for multiple filters.
    • Support for multi-level knowledge categories. Specify the Category Group API name, the filtering selector (see for more details), and then the Category API name.
    • Important: If you used knowledge categories filter previously, check the  Category Group API name and filtering selector value.
  • Libraries:
    • Search includes the content within PDF files.
    • Improved control over size and formatting.
  • Search Results
    • Improved the readability and display of search items.
  • Tile
    • Fixed Back button not selectable when going to a new page.
    • Able to set link or whole tile as the clickable.

  • Admin user access – Added a permission set (Forcivity Component Pack Admin), allowing for other admin users to be assigned to the application.
